Web design and development has changed a lot over the last 20 years. We have seen trends come and go similar to those in the fashion industry. In the 90’s the design wasn’t as important as the information. In the early 2000’s design started to play a large part in how the information was presented. We morphed from large complex information driven website in the late 2000’s and early 2010’s into a simpler site aimed at mobile users as the 2010’s came to a close. Today we see a bit of a balance in design, information, usability and functionality. At Quad City Web Design we design for mobile, tablet and desktop users with usability being just as important as the information on the site. Growth Work, LLC
Growth Work, LLC needed a mobile responsive website with appeal to a wide range of clientele. The new site needed to work for established clients as well as to bring in new clients. Growth Work, LLC has a large list of courses and descriptions that needed to be displayed well and easily accessible to coordinating managers.
Overall this project was a joy to work on with its bright photography and open design.
Vermillion Construction
Vermillion Construction is a Geneseo based construction firm that specializes in bathrooms, basements, tile and drywall. They server the entire Quad City and surrounding area. They needed a mobile responsive site that supported quick and easy appointment booking so that they could focus on jobs and not on phone calls and paperwork. The site is simple and clean so that their work shines.

Carpets of Elmhurst
Carpets of Elmhurst came to Quad City Web Design looking to update to a mobile friendly, simple website with the function to drive clients to either call the store or visit the showroom. QCWD was able to provide an elegant, yet simple, responsive design to appeal to all users no matter the platform they are using.
Reviews were paramount to the client. They have a strong history of great customer service and are proud to stand behind (and on!) their work. Making sure that those reviews were front and center was a major requirement in building this site.

Iowa Cancer Specialists
Iowa Cancer Specialists was looking to update their look to a modern site with an easy to use navigation for their patients. Providing medical information in an elegant, easy to use format was essential for this website. Quad City Web Design took all the information, orgainzed it into categories and provided it in an easy navigate site with a professional layout. The site was built with growth in mind. There is room to add navigation, pages and PDFs as the information changes and grows.

Dental Assisting Technologies was in need of an upgrade to a mobile friendly, responsive site. Quad City Web Design took them from 2006 into 2020 with a redesign that not only made it mobile friendly but allowed their potential students access to the materials they needed on their mobile devices and even the ability to fill out an application quickly from a mobile device.
